2023 SSM YMCA Board of Directors Application

The Sault Ste. Marie YMCA is looking for motivated individuals throughout Sault Ste. Marie who have the skills, passion, and vision to contribute as valued members of our volunteer Board of Directors. We hope to fill up to four positions.

Serving as a Board member is one of the most challenging and rewarding of volunteer assignments. We invite you to complete the following application and tell us about yourself! Board members have important governance, legal and fiduciary responsibilities that require a commitment of time, skill, and resources. We want you to be well informed about the organization and ensure that you have given your commitment considerable thought before you agree to serve. We will follow up the submission of this application form with a document with further details on the Responsibilities & Expectations of board members and also set-up an informal interview in the coming weeks where we can explore the possibility of this rewarding opportunity together.
