The Sault Ste. Marie YMCA offers Day Camps throughout the year. Options for Day Camps are offered on P.A. Days, throughout the Holiday Season, March Break and Summer. Everyone should have the opportunity to make those camp memories – playing games, endless hours swimming with our new friends, and discovering new skills! At YMCA Day Camps, children have the opportunity to thrive in a positive, safe environment. Our Day Camps offer:
- a caring community of friendship and belonging
- highly trained counsellors who are passionate about working with children
- a safe environment to explore and gain new experiences
- the opportunity to learn skills and develop habits that will nurture a healthy, active lifestyle
- most of all, FUN!

New Summer Camps Additions!
PRIDE Camp – Now Only $60!! – CLOSED as of July 6, 2022
This exciting week of activities will be full of fun, conversation, and glitter. Like other Y camps, campers will spend part of the day exploring the theme of the week and then will also participate in other “traditional” camp games, activities and crafts. A new addition this year, Pride Camp will engage campers with an activity-based curriculum based on age-appropriate discussions of gender, identity, inclusion, and diversity. The curriculum is designed by Dr. Deb Woodman (Algoma University) who has experience developing PRIDE-based youth programming in the community for many years.
P.A. Day Camps include indoor and outdoor games, sports, arts & crafts and recreational activities!
The next P.A. Days are:
May 20 & June 10
