Day Camps

The Sault Ste. Marie YMCA offers Day Camps throughout the year. Options for Day Camps are offered on P.A. Days, throughout the Holiday Season, March Break and Summer. Everyone should have the opportunity to make those camp memories – playing games, endless hours swimming with our new friends, and discovering new skills! At YMCA Day Camps, children have the opportunity to thrive in a positive, safe environment. Our Day Camps offer:

  • highly trained counsellors who are passionate about working with children
  • a safe environment to explore and gain new experiences
  • the opportunity to learn skills and develop habits that will nurture a healthy, active lifestyle
  • most of all, FUN!

If registering online, you will / may also need to complete the following forms and return them to the YMCA Membership Services Desk prior to Camp:

  • The YMCA Day Camps – Vital Info and Emergency Contacts form must be completed for ALL Camp participants and returned to the Membership Services Desk after registering online.
  • Please review our Medical / Learning / Behavioral form, and if applicable, please download and return it to the Membership Services Desk after registering online.
  • If your camper will require the administration of medication during camp hours, please complete the Medication Administration Authorization form and return it to the Membership Services Desk after registering online.
  • If you are applying for Financial Assistance to register for your child to attend camp, please complete the Financial Assistance form and return it to the Membership Services Desk. This form MUST be filled out before registering.  Please visit the Membership Services between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday to submit this information.

Registration for 2023 Summer Day Camps is now closed. We hope that all of our campers had a great time!

P.A. Day Camps include indoor and outdoor games, sports, arts & crafts and recreational activities!

YMCA P.A. Day Camps for the 2023/2024 school year include:

  • September 29, 2023
  • November 10, 2023
  • February 2, 2024
  • March 8, 2024 (part of HSCDSB March Break)
  • April 19, 2024
  • June 10, 2024

Fees for P.A. Days:

  • Member – $55
  • Non-member – $65

There will be lunch and 2 snack breaks during the day. Lunch and snacks are not provided.

Ages: 4 to 12 years

Enrollment for each P.A. Day will be limited to a maximum of 16 registrants.

  • Tuesday, January 2 to Friday, January 5 (pro-rated to 4 days). Members $168 / Non-members $200

March Break Day Camp will run from March 11-15.

Full week (March 11 to 15)

Members: $210

Non-Members: $250
