Where does the money go?
One in five youth in Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma District struggle with their mental health and one in five families can’t afford access to basic recreation.
Your donation to the Community Strong Festival will help to resource mental health programs for children, youth and families that would otherwise not be available through provincial funding. As well as provide an opportunity to send children to camp, learn to swim, support seniors and programming for the whole family.
All monies collected will remain local and be shared equally between Sault Ste. Marie YMCA and Algoma Family Services Foundation.
