Bronze Medallion teaches an understanding of the lifesaving principles embodied in the four components of water-rescue education – judgment, knowledge, skill and fitness.

Bronze Cross is designed for lifesavers who want the challenge of more advanced training, including an introduction to safe supervision in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for all advanced training programs, including National Lifeguard and Instructor certification.

National Lifeguard certification is the industry standard for professional lifeguards in Canada. NL guards are water rescue professionals trained in emergency care. They prevent accidents. They are trained to spot potential trouble and intervene before it becomes life-threatening. They identify hazards and determine safe practices. They educate the public about the hazards and risks associated with aquatic activities and how to be Water Smart.

Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR-C (incl. infant, child and adult) and is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid. The Workplace Safety & Insurance Board recognizes Rescue 7’s Standard & Emergency First Aid programs. Ap
