Youth Mindfulness and Wellness

At the YMCA, we believe that wellness starts from within. 

Our upcoming Youth Mindfulness programs are designed to help young people build confidence, focus, and emotional resilience – giving them tools to handle life’s ups and downs with balance and positivity. 

Through guided activities, reflection, and movement, participants will explore ways to: 

  • Recognize and manage stress in healthy ways 
  • Build self-awareness and emotional regulation 
  • Practice gratitude and positive thinking 
  • Strengthen focus and concentration 
  • Develop habits that support mind–body–spirit wellness 

We’re currently developing new programming focused on mindfulness, meditation, and emotional wellness for youth. Stay tuned for future offerings, workshops, and drop-in sessions that help young people slow down, connect, and recharge. 

Tip of the Day: 

Pause. Take three slow breaths. Notice one thing you can see, one thing you can hear, and one thing you can feel. Small moments of mindfulness can make a big difference.
