We are excited to share that The Sault Ste. Marie YMCA as been selected to receive two grants from Canadian Tire Jumpstart!
The first grant will help provide new lifejackets for various YMCA summer camps. The second grant will help cover operating and equipment costs for our Helping Hands summer camp which provides a quality day camp experience and helps creates fantastic summer camp memories for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Like Jumpstart, The Sault Ste. Marie YMCA understands the importance of sport and recreation for the health and well-being of kids, and are proud of the work we do to provide sport, activities, and play for the community.
Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities is committed to ensuring kids in need have equal access to sport and recreation. Jumpstart helps eligible families cover the costs of registration, transportation, and equipment, and provides funding to selected organizations for recreational infrastructure and programming.
