About the Author
Brent Rouble is a geoscientist, entrepreneur, business analyst, and proud dad, with a passion for growing giant pumpkins. In 2023, Brent grew an 897-pound pumpkin and paddled it 23 kilometers down the St. Mary’s River over 8.5 hours, setting a Canadian record for pumpkin paddling. Inspired by his own adventure and the bedtime stories his father told about “Johnny and the Bear,” this book brings together a blend of imagination and real-life experiences.
